I had posted a video about wildlife on my patio before, which showes a single wild bee building her home in my awning. Today things were different: a whole bee swarm conquered our backyard.

Finally, they rested in a European yew in our neighbors backyard.

I contacted a beekeeper and he told me to spray water on them in a fog like fashion once they settled down. This will keep them from swarming again so that he can pick them up. He showed up after about an hour later with a box and some protective equipment.

Once things calmed down after a coffee or two, he took his box and brought the swarm to its new home in his backyard.

The box was filled with bees.

Edit: today I got a picture from the beekeeper showing how they move in into their new home.
